Their abilities go beyond normal combat for they are trained to fight with a different set of weapons. They fight with the skills of seduction for no kaiju can resist their temptation.

This tale is 6,700 words of hardcore kaiju sex, monster on monster lust, biting, clawing, and very dubious kaiju consent.

My name is Rosemary Talon, Lieutenant with GEK Special Forces but everyone calls me Ro. Sleeping beauty below me is Zulla, my very own kaiju. She had a long flight from Texas to Florida and I was spending quality time keeping tabs on her. I have only been a GEK pilot for two months and to say the experience was unusual is an understatement. Zulla and I were being shuttled around from base to base so we could train in different combat environments. It was essential training because when rogue kaiju attack, you had to be ready in almost any battleground. We were at the last stage of this particular training, marsh and swamp combat.
It was late afternoon and the heat of the day was in full force. Commander Frost, my direct report, thought it would be a nice change of pace if Zulla and I had the afternoon off. So here I was, watching my dear Zulla sleep while I tried to not think about anything in particular. It was the first break I had in months and it was nice to blank out for a while.
Zulla lay in a climate controlled hanger. She measured about 250 feet long with a strikingly feminine figure, her green scaly skin reflecting iridescent shine in the medium lighting. Her tail lay limply to the side. Her face was a smooth emerald color with small black horns protruding just below her hair line. I smiled again when I looked at what everyone called her hair. Her head was covered in small, black cable like dreadlocks. It gave her a powerful appearance when she was up and walking around. But now, they just splayed all over the concrete floor as soldiers kept themselves from tripping over the ends.
In another life, I might have found it ridiculous that Zulla was wearing a bathing suit. Well, it was more like a bikini. The top brass insisted that male and female GEK’s must wear something to cover their naughty bits. It just wouldn’t do if air lifted GEK’s were flown over towns and cities completely naked. We had to think about the children.
The temperature was cool in the hanger and I could see Zulla’s nipples poking up through the large amount of fabric covering them. I would have to talk to someone about raising the temperature just a little so she could sleep better. I would be lying if I didn’t have affection for my lizard princess. During training they encourage you to develop strong bonds with your GEK. Much like dog training in police departments, you function like a unit to the point where you don’t know where you begin and they end. For the time you are together, you are family.

    Great book as all of Anodea Judith's are. Still will never top Eastern body Western Mind though.

    I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I've been an energy worker for many years so I wasn't expecting anything new, but there was! I love soaking up the new info and seeing how someone else interprets the energy.

    I love Anodea Judith’s work and she is top notch (I highly recommend Wheels of Life!), her work is detailed and incredibly helpful. But my copy of the book has poor editing and some of the pictures are placed badly so they block out the text. I noticed this is the First Edition fourth printing in 2017. Maybe a bad batch? Ugh it’s frustrating because I want to take in every single word of hers!!! Giving 4 stars, docking 1 Star because poor publishing, but the author’s work is excellent. Otherwise 5 stars.

    Beautiful book! It's colorful and well designed. Each chakra has it's own chapter and there are colored numbers on the sides of the pages so you can quickly and easily identify the chakra associated with that section. Great photos and easy to follow directions for the yoga postures. My one complaint is that the pronunciation guide she gives for the seed mantra sound for each chakra is completely different than what I've read everywhere else.

    This is a great book for developing a Chakra based yoga practice. I have used it to plan parts of classes and whole classes around each Chakra or general tune in. It's clearly written and a good book for the beginner and more experienced teacher or for personal practice. Highly recommend it.

    I've recently fallen in love with yoga and go to a studio 2-3 times weekly. This book is PERFECT for helping start my home practice and supporting my goals related to energy healing of the chakras. I love, love, love the poses and sequences listed, and they're great to do exactly as-is or to mix and match a few poses from each chakra! There is a beautiful flow to these sequences, and they're challenging too. I will be using this wonderful book for years to come!! Highly highly recommend.

    Psychologist and yogin Anodea Judith is an amazing resource when it comes to the chakra system. Her first book, Wheels of Life: A User’s Guide to the Chakra System, has become a yoga classic. Now she has released a book specific to hatha yoga practice using the chakras. This is a great resource for individuals who may wish to focus their practice on a specific chakra, as well as a manual for teachers who wish to lead a chakra yoga practice. Chakra Yoga can be used by novices who would like to learn about the chakras, experienced practitioners looking for ideas or perspective, and everyone in between. To put everyone on the same page, Judith gives a concise and thorough explanation of the chakras.Judith gives a short introduction, where she introduces the reader to her personal and professional experience with chakras. She then places the chakras into the context of yoga (some may have encountered chakras at the new age store and not know their yogic origins). Yoga means “to yoke,” or hitch two things together and Judith says, “the chakra system is the architecture of that yoke, providing a comprehensive map to the way the mortal and the Divine yoke together.” The goal of the chakra, yoga, and LifeForce Yoga is wholeness and integration. The chakra system “provides both a ladder for liberation and a map for manifestation.” Understanding our chakras and integrating this knowledge into our practices, allows us to have a deeper experience of focus and unfolding.Each chapter is devoted to a specific chakra and begins with a chart of the basic principles of that chakra. These principles include things like associated element, body parts, practices, actions, deficiencies, balances, etc. Judith identifies a keyword for each chakra, which is elaborated upon in the discussion of basic concepts that follows. As an example, the keyword for Manipura, third chakra, is activate, through the cultivation of fire (agni) in the body. This concept of activation through fire is put into context with a discussion of the underlying yogic philosophy with sources from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita. The author then grounds this discussion into an experience, pelvic pulsing for the second chakra, uddiyana bandha (energy lock) for the third chakra, etc. The energy practice is followed by a meditative experience, a subtle energy exploration of the chakra.The chapter continues with a yoga posture flow. Judith states in the introduction that there is no substitute for a skilled teacher and since this is not a comprehensive yoga pose manual, she has made some wonderful adjustments. Postures have a basic set of step by step instructions and readers are asked to follow them in order without omission. Guidelines are given for further instruction, as well as benefits and cautions. At the end of the chapter, a posture flow is given with the names of the poses and a small photograph. The selection of which postures to include is not easy as postures influence more than one chakra at a time, or variations of the same pose, or a shift in focus, may impact a different chakra. For this reason, Judith states, “some of the basic poses will appear in more than one chakra.” Of special note: the author provides a four pose partner yoga sequence in the heart chakra chapter.Judith provides a specific relaxation and focus for each chakra. For example, the focus of relaxation for the fifth chakra (visshudha at the throat) is on “listening to the subtle variations coursing throughout the whole body.” The relaxation focus for the first chakra (muladhara at the base of the spine) is on feeling the solidity of the body and receiving nourishment from the earth.Judith is adept at writing about complex concepts from yoga philosophy so that they are easy to understand and yet lose none of their richness. Chakra Yoga contains ample opportunities to experience energy, movement, and stillness. It belongs on the shelf of every yoga/chakra enthusiast.

    What a wonderful book. Anodea does a wonderful job describing each pose and different things you can focus on in each asana that allows you to dig deeper and experience each pose more fully. The sequences she has put together for each chakra are powerful. The photography is fantastic. I appreciate that she has a section in which she fully describes each asana but then also has a section where she just has the photos of the poses for when you've gained familiarity with the sequence. I am happy breathing exercises are covered, too, and not just the physical poses. It's been my go to book for my home practice ever since I ordered it months ago.

    As the book suggests, this book covers the various yoga poses affiliated with each of the chakras. I highly recommend this book. The author knows yoga as well as the chakras very well and ties them together in an easy to follow book. Its divided by chakra and is color coded by chakra so you can find what you're looking for quickly and easily. Great read.
